SP 500: 3900 area on SP 500 key support, QQQ ETF at 293, and XBI ETF at 82
The SP 500 fell down to the 61% retracement of the June to August rally at 3900 area this past week. Similar retracements in QQQ (NASDAQ 100) and XBI (Biotech). The question really is if we break these above support areas on the downside or they hold and we consolidate probably into the Election perhaps.
Last weekend I had a chart up on the SP 500 and the caption said if 4060 doesn’t hold the next major level is around 3900, so we hit that bounced to 4000 and then on Friday pulled back hard. Watch 3900 as key. I also said to watch 294 area as key on QQQ last weekend.
Trading Notes: We only put out one new trade last week due to market correction expectations I had. Friday that alert went out and its a profiled stock in this weekends IBD report as it turns out. We also sold 1/2 our CCRN position for a profit and took a loss on another position. We are going slow near term for now.

Updated List 9/5/22- Updated list for the near term and intermediate window ahead based on sectors, individual stock fundamental strength, and Banister Behavioral Patterns lining up for strong probable upside.
PRVA- 5 week consolidation above trend line. Offers cloud-based platform that combines medical groups to improve patient experiences and reward doctors.
DRVN- Back on the list, 5 week consolidation above trend line. Provides automotive services like paint, collision, glass, vehicle repair, oil change, maintenance/car wash.
EE- 5 month post IPO base. Provides liquefied natural gas distribution, terminal services, and
reliable energy solutions.
MNTK- 3rd week in a row on list. As long as 16.50 holds we are good here. Develops, owns and operates renewable energy projects utilizing landfill methane. Revenues up 114% year over year. Profitable. Profiled this weekend in the IBD IPO section as an emerging leader.
CPRX- 2nd week back on the list, current SRP position as of Friday. 4 weeks tight closings still looks bullish overall. Develops prescription drugs for neuromuscular and neurological diseases and disorders. 54% growth PE 19. Subject of a IBD article this weekend as well.
CF- Possible handle pullback on 6 month cup and handle formation. Manufactures nitrogen fertilizers including urea, ammonia nitrate/urea ammonium nitrate in North America. PE 7
DQ- 2nd week on list, but would like it to hold 62/63 area. 9 week consolidation. China-based company that manufactures and sells polysilicon to photovoltaic product manufacturers.
MTDR- 2nd week in a row on the list, energy play. 6 week overall consolidation . Engaged in oil and gas exploration and production in areas of Texas/Louisiana. PE 7 and year over year profit growth was 240%.
FLNG- 4 week consolidation needs to hold 32.40 area. Bermuda based company engages in the transportation of liquefied natural gas worldwide.
CRK- Has been creeping higher, pulled back last week with market. 4th week in row on list after breaking to upside off the list two weeks ago. 7 week pattern as it completed a correction in July with Energy stocks and now making a comeback. Engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas reserves primarily in Texas and Louisiana.
OXY- Warren Buffet major holding and building his position. PE 9, 3 month base, pulling back last week.
SHLS- 4 week consolidation. In #1 IBD sector, solar energy. Designs and manufactures electrical balance of systems solutions for solar energy projects, storage.
TALO-3rd week in a row on the list. Pulled back last week but popped on Friday. Energy play. Engaged in exploration and production of oil and natural gas in the Gulf of Mexico. PE 8, revenue up 71% year over year
