- End of quarter completes, pension money flows in last week to start 3rd quarter
- SP 500 resistance in 3150’s must get taken out for Bulls , 2950’s intermediate support
- Biotech looks poised to continue to lead and break out again (See XBI Chart)

General Market Summary: Updated Banister Market and Elliott Wave Views on SP 500
SP 500 and Other commentary:
So far a “Truncated” ABC pattern where the C wave has a higher low than the A wave down. This can set up a bullish rally, but I do think we may be a little volatile for the next 10 days or so in the markets. That said, Biotech and Tech continue to lead and we continue to focus on those areas for Swing Trading in my various services whether it be SP 3x ETF trading and or Stocks etc.
Biotech in particular leading and we are long LABU in the 3x ETF service coming into this week looking for strong gains in the next short term period of time. Early in the week we went long DRV and TZA but I took both trades off a tiny profits and or break even and rotated my 3x ETF members into the bullish 3x ETF LABU for Biotech as I saw the truncated C wave and shifted gears quickly.
The SP 500 chart is below, and we are looking for confirmation of an upside breakout with a close over 3155 area, and this was hit late on Friday with resistance selling.

Biotech XBI ETF Chart: 8 day base looks bullish
Markets may be in a range as we get ready for 2nd quarter earnings reports to start up soon and see if we get any outlooks from management teams on the conference calls.

Investment Advisor’s extremely bullish with few Bears: (Contrarian signal)
One of the many indicators I use to help me feel more confident in my Elliott Wave projections includes Investment Advisor surveys. 54% Bullish Advisors vs only 19.8% Bears. Typically when we are at 3 to 1 ratio its at extremes, often near market interim tops. Bears moved up some last week as Bulls also dropped back.

FTNT- 10 week overall base for threat management systems provider. 2nd week in row on list
CHGG- 9 week overall base, current SRP position. E Book, Text Book etc College play. 2nd week in row on list
SAIL- 4th week in row on list. Moved up last week, strong ascending pattern right side of base. Identity software that assists organizations.
NARI- 7 week Post IPO base, 2nd week in row on list. Recent IPO of Venous disease solutions (Biotech)

ZYXI- Has been on list several times. Post IPO 4 week tight consolidation near highs
CRWD- 5 week base near highs. Software/security solutions company
GO- 12 month Post IPO right side base possible breakout soon. Discount Stores growing rapidly
ZS- 6 week base near 52 week highs. Global Cloud Security architecture.
SSR- 8 week base not far off 52 week highs for Silver and Gold exploration firm
CORT- returning to the list again, 2 weeks tight base near highs. Drug developer, recent winner at SRP.
